Empty was terrified. He was pacing around the front of his well hidden hut of hours now.
        "I'm scared...." He muttered
"I'm scared…" He was afraid of himself. He was afraid of who might come to the forest when the curse of his was not satisfied. At this point, he was afraid of everything.
Suddenly, he stopped and sat down rigidly and rubbed the front of his neck with his hoof nervously. He began to remember when he tried to jump off a cliff near an abandoned castle and was thrown back by the curses protection spell.
There was no Escape.

A rustling sound could be heard in the bushes and Empty froze, waiting for whatever it was to come forth. To his horror, it was a young colt. Empty wanted to vomit just then. The feeling was gone instantly however, when the curse was back in effect.
'No…' was his last thought before his senses shifted to murderous intent. His eyes dilated and he smiled wildly at the colt.
Why, Hello there, little colt!" He laughed manically. The colt just shivered.
"H-hello…. I… Someone asked me to look for you. She said… she wanted to play a game." He informed. Empty got up in response and walked over with a sly smile plastered on his face, All laughter in him gone.
Is that so?" He asked sweetly, finally getting in front of the already terrified foal and pushed him down ever so gently to his haunches.
"So sorry… What was your name?" The Colt shivered as Empty Brushed his mane off his face.
"Um, M-Magic Mint, sir." Empty's smile became warm, but had made the young pony grow cold.
"So sorry, Magic Mint," He said in mock apology, His crazed grin twisting back onto his features. With a quick movement, he kicked Magic to the ground with his fore hoof. He stood over him and smiled darkly.
"But you're not going home this time."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Stomping, scratching, biting and screaming. The blood of the colt was splattered on the ground and on Empty's face and hooves.  Empty held a stare on the bloody corpse that left him looking dead himself.
"Why…" he whispered.
"Why did you… Have to be a foal…?" he began to sob, trying his best to not start screaming all together. He ignored the rustling sounds at his side until whatever was there began screaming. He turned his head to see the very mare that had accused him of murder, screaming in terror and in her hysteria, she ran into a tree, knocking herself out cold.  Empty just looked at her, his tears blurring his vision.
"she… how could she have known?' he reasoned, not liking anger to creep into his mind. He finally got up. Gently, Empty Hoisted Blind flaw up on his back and brought her into his hut. Placing her down on his sleeping mat, He, with a shivered sigh, Walked back out and stared at the corpse once again.
I'm sorry…I'm sorry…"he sobbed repeatedly as he put the lifeless body onto his back to bring him back to Everfree's Entrance.

As soon as the body left his back, he ran to the river as fast as he could and jumped in, scrubbing the blood off his body as best he could. Satisfied that it was all gone, he dragged himself back to his hut and chose to sit in front of the wall that happened to be the side of an enormous tree, and waited for Blind Flaw to awaken.
It took a half hour for the sleeping pony to finally stir. She lifted her head up slowly and looked around to see nothing. She was blind again.
"where am I?" she questioned.
"Who's there?" Empty slightly turned just enough for her to 'feel' his stare.
"You…" she said knowingly. Empty just stared.
"Why…?" he said in a whisper.
"Why… did you… call me a… murderer?" Jumping up slightly from her resting place, she turned to his voice as best she could.
"I didn't! I… I wasn't able to finish…" she stuttered. Empty waited for her to continue. Swallowing nervously, she continued.
"What I said… I meant… How can I put this?" she paused for a moment, then went on.
"Ok…. Let me say it all. I was going to say… 'Are you a murderer, because you've murdered my feelings."
"Empty stared at her incredulously as something in his heart snapped. Blind flaw could hear Empty try to retain a quiet demeanor as small, restrained growls touched her ears. She was startled when she heard wood crack sharply. She couldn't see that it was Empty who slammed his fore hoof to the wall that had caused the cracking noise.
"You…" he growled out softly.
"That…Is… So… Idiotic…" he said, Getting louder and choppier as he spoke, trying to restrain himself. But the problem was, he didn't want to. Even though he does not like to feel angry, he was, and he couldn't take it.
"Who in the world says things like that!? He sobbed angrily.
"Do you have any idea what those words did to me? What They made me do?!" he yelled, all stuttering gone and replaced with anger. Suddenly, Blind Flaw remembered that he's said this to her before. He had mouthed it to her when she was running away from him not too long ago.
"I Don't understand..." She mumbled out. Empty was prepared to yell again, but settled down when her words sank in.
"no…" he said in a voice that sounded like regret and sorrow.
"You don't… Understand… Blind Flaw…" A few seconds passed and Blind Flaw heard a haggard sigh.
"I… Know you… Saw it…" Empty said suddenly in a shuddery whisper, his usual halting speech returning.
"I know… Because you started…. Screaming…. I know…. You saw…. What I had done…" And right at that moment, the blood soaked magic mint flashed through her mind once again.
