Being in a prison for sometime
Waiting for that day
The day I was chosen from others
It had come
My shackles were gone
And she held me,
Kept me warm,
And made me royalty.

At My command,
I Get What I desire
Things of Amusement
Delectable Treats
Only of the most Delectable Meats
My Guardians Bid Me farewell
Every night, With a Hug and a kiss

The Ideal Monarchy
But Sometimes
An Annoyance!
I lounge On My seats
Trying to sleep
Then I am grabbed,
Struggling for retreat
Too many hugs!
Too many kisses!
A stroke on the head,
But nothing more
It annoys me!
Down to my core!

But not all is well in my kingdom.
Battles are fought, And Battles are won
But battles are lost
The first heir of this kingdom
He received ultimate Finality
He promised when his time was at its end
I would be rule after He.
But My Kings Fate,
It had come too soon for me.

Soon came The Conqueror
He was fierce, bold, strong.
Bigger than My King
Three times long
The Battles were fierce.
But all knew who won.
My rescuer had even entered battle
But all in vain.
There Lies My King.
Battered, bruised, Defeated
I watch over him in silent grief
All until the Guardians Pulled Him Away.

It's my fight now.
The conqueror now rules below while I ruled above.
Not as bold as my Departed friend,
But I am not alone
My guardians are there
The ones who freed me.
So even though in War,
I will not waver.
For I am not alone.
For A pet wouldn't Leave Their Owners,
And They Won't Leave Me.
